Areas of practice
What I work on
Every matter is assessed before I accept instructions, to establish whether litigation is genuinely the better route compared with a negotiated settlement.
Family law and personal status
Separation and divorce, custody and maintenance, assisted negotiation, guardianship, succession.
Civil law and obligations
Contracts, tenancies, condominium disputes, tort liability and damages.
Employment law
Dismissals, unpaid wages, classification of the working relationship, settlements.
Debt recovery
Payment orders, enforcement proceedings, out-of-court recovery.

How I work
First contact
An initial meeting serves to frame the question and to establish whether I can be of use. It takes place at the office or by video call, by appointment.
Before accepting instructions I set out in writing the expected fee, distinguishing between fees, disbursements and statutory charges, as required by art. 13(5) of Law no. 247 of 31 December 2012.
I hold professional indemnity insurance under art. 12 of the same law.
Writing
Writing
Short pieces on practical questions and legislative developments in the areas I work on. They are written for a general audience: they are not legal advice and do not replace an assessment of the specific case.
No pieces published yet.
